There’s three handcrafted cycle trails at Cardinham for those of any ability. The routes take you through the deepest layers of these stunning pine tree woods, eventually looping back to the main car park hub. Whether you’ve got your own bike or you need to take advantage of the hired bike facilities, Cardinham is sure to get the adrenaline pumping.
The aptly named Bodmin Beast Trail is a blue grade, meaning that it’s a great starting point for the novice cyclist. With that said, there’s still some brutal uphill climbs and enthralling down hill descents to put you on the edge of your seat as you take in some of the amazing vantage points across the Woods.
Once your confidence is high, you could attempt Hell’s Teeth, a red grade track that tests your agility to the maximum as you navigate jumps, bumps, twists and turns. With the trails complete and energy levels low, boost yourself with a homemade cake or artisan lunch at the ever popular Woods Cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, open all year round.
