Camelside is situated just a couple of minutes from the centre of the old market town of Wadebridge, on the banks of the River Camel. Wadebridge is a buzzing town with a plethora of independent retailers and has the Camel Trail right on its doorstep! With easy access to the North Coast Beaches and all that North Cornwall has to offer...this is an ideal destination for couples or a small family!
The Apartment has just been refurbished and has two double bedrooms. The master has an en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath, double wardrobe with sliding glass doors and a door to the balcony.
The twin bedroom also has lots of storage and is smartly presented in black and grey tones and has the sole use of the shower room! This bedroom is versatility itself! Have two single beds for the kids or couples can "Zip & Link" to a Kingsize as well!
A spacious lounge/diner opens up before you and takes full advantage of the spectacular views over the Estuary! Not only that, but duplex double glazed windows and French doors open out onto the tiled Balcony – imagine those al fresco suppers! Anneka’s Bridge is to the left and the old Bridge is to the right. Just lovely! There is a smart corner unit sofa and the room is presented in funky grey and orange! There is seating for 6!
The kitchen is newly fitted in crisp white gloss with orange glass accents and smart black appliances....Cook up a storm in style!
Lockable Store - Within the car park area is a lockable store for use of guests - ideal for the storage of bicycles or golf clubs.
Parking – electronic access to the secure parking area at lower ground level. The property has an allocated parking space in the underground parking area together with visitors parking. Just what the doctor ordered!
Cornwall: There is so much to do in Cornwall. With its mild climate, quaint fishing villages and amazing coastline, there is something for everyone! Trerice Manor (near Newquay) is an elaborate Elizabethan house with beautiful gardens and a lawnmower museum. Near St Austell you have the Wheal Martyn Museum and the famous Eden Project. Tintagel boasts its ruins and legends of King Arthur. For family days out you have Springfields Fun and Pony Centre at St Columb, Crealy Adventure Park at Wadebridge, Paradise Park at Hayle and the National Seal Sanctuary near Gweek. There are some lovely gardens to explore around Cornwall and some of these include Trebah Gardens near Falmouth, Trevarno Estate and Gardens at Helston and the Lost Gardens of Heligan near St Austell.
The Area: This bustling market town in North Cornwall offers a wide variety of leisure and shopping opportunities as well as being the perfect base from which to discover the natural beauty of Cornwall and North Cornwall. Wadebridge is the venue for some of North Cornwall's major events. Find out what rural life is all about at the action packed Royal Cornwall Show. Held every June there's something for all the family. The town comes alive to the sound of music every August Bank Holiday as it hosts the internationally acclaimed Wadebridge Folk Festival. Nearby the stunning gardens of historic houses such as Pencarrow, Lanhydrock and Prideaux Place provide the stage for summer events.
From Jazz to Opera, Dog shows to Country fairs - visitors are always welcome and what better way to discover what Wadebridge and the surrounding area really has to offer.
Wadebridge is also the gateway to the beautiful scenery and stunning beaches which pepper this area! Daymer Bay, Harlyn, Constantine and Polzeath - to name but a few!
Walking: The Camel Trail provides easy walking for young and old, with beautiful countryside all around it and the Trail being flat. For the more adventurous, Bodmin Moor is only 15 miles away and has many places of interest along with some challenging walking areas. Wadebridge is also on the famous Saints Way, a 16 mile cross country path, forged in ancient times by Celtic Saints between Padstow and Fowey. There are also spectacular coastal walks within a few miles of Wadebridge.
Outdoor Sports: Rock is only a few miles away and offers a wide range of watersports, including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and paracending. There are also various riding stables in the area. Four miles away is the Cornwall Karting indoor racing track at Retallack. Not to be missed are the numerous beautiful golden beaches, all along the north coast and three golf courses close by at Trevose, Constantine and Bodmin.
