Clove Cottage, Withiel £525+ per week
Enter the cottage from the courtyard into the large living/dining room. The open fire provides a focal point to the left of the room and a cheery red sofa and two matching armchairs are centred around this. The dining area s to the right and the kitchen is accessed from here. This has a range of wall and base units in a cherry finish topped off by marble effect laminate worktops. A dark green range cooker provides a versatile cooking station.
From the living area there is a door to the large garden which has a table, chairs and a parasol. A hallway to the left of the chimney leads past a bathroom and a storage alcove. Then, down a couple of steps is the first of the bedrooms which is a well proportioned double.
To the right of the chimney are the stairs to the first floor of the cottage. A landing then leads to a twin bedroom, a bright and airy bathroom and the second generous double at the rear.
Clove Cottage is centrally heated and all linen is included. Guest are asked to bring their own towels please.

Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just a stone’s throw from Bodmin, Wadebridge, Padstow and the A30, Tregawne is accessible to all of Cornwall’s treasures from Lands End to Bodmin Moor.
Walking & Cycling Breaks:
There is excellent walking on the doorstep, including the The Camel Trail and the Saints Way (one mile away) and the Coast Path (only 25 minutes away). If you fancy a two-wheeled adventure cycle the picturesque Camel Trail that runs from Padstow to Bodmin (one mile away). Bikes are available for hire in Wadebridge.
Golf:
Your host David is a member of St.Enodoc and Trevose Golf Clubs. He is happy to arrange golf at these world-class courses for a discounted rate (parties of up to 16 people), and there are many other courses nearby.
Surfing:
There is fantastic surfing at Polzeath, Newquay and Watergate Bay (25-30 mins away). Lessons and surfboard hire are available.
Dogs:
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Tregawne Cottages and there are lovely walks in the area.
Eden Project & Cornwall’s Gardens:
The Eden Project is just 20 minutes away, and Tregawne is close to many more of Cornwall’s beautiful houses gardens (see www.gardensofcornwall.com for a full listing).
Art Courses:
Artist Janet Shearer, author of 'The Art Of Illusion', holds art courses just 1/4 mile away (01208 831926 for more information).
Shooting & Fishing Breaks:
Tregawne is perfectly situated for local shooting parties. See www.cornishshooting.com for more information. There is excellent salmon and sea trout fishing on the Tamar (ends mid Oct), Camel River and the River Fowey (both end in Dec) rivers.
Restaurants & Pubs:
Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant and other first-class eateries are within arm’s reach at Padstow; and there are plenty more foodie hotspots on the doorstep that we can recommend.

Tregawne Doggy Code:
We would be grateful if guests bringing their best friends follow Tregawne's doggy code:
- Please do not leave your dog alone in your cottage at anytime during your stay.
- Please do not allow your dog in cottage bedrooms or on uncovered furniture.
- We do request that dogs are kept under control at all times for their own safety and also for the comfort of other guests.
- Due to health and safety regulations it's important that you pick up after your dog(s) and dispose of poo in the outside bin labelled 'dogs'. Remember also to bring poo bags with you.
- Doggy Tariff: First dog is free of charge and any second dog is £20 per week.
We regret that an additional flat charge of £50.00 will have to be made if carpets, rugs, furniture covers or bedspreads require additional cleaning.
